How to Change Rates in the Tiket.com Extranet and Verify the Update
Safe Tiket.com Rate Update
1. On desktop, use Rates & Availability > Manage Rates & Availability, choose the room and date, edit the intended rate plan in the right-side panel, and save.
2. For multiple dates, use Bulk Update and verify the chosen date range, weekdays, room types, rate plans, and price before saving.
3. Tiket.com now uses the Lignum name for parts of its property platform and mobile app; available paths differ between desktop and mobile.
4. Reopen the calendar, check the Rates & Availability Log, and verify a like-for-like public checkout price before closing the task.

Knowing how to change rates in tiket.com extranet is useful only when the hotel updates the correct product and proves what guests can book. A saved number can still be attached to the wrong rate plan, hidden by a close-out, replaced by a default, or confused with a promotional price.

Tiket.com now uses Lignum by tiket.com (Extranet) for its property platform and mobile experience. This guide uses the desktop Extranet for the primary workflow and gives the mobile path separately.

Confirm the Rate Model and Source Before Editing

Tiket.com supports room-based and occupancy-based pricing. Under room-based pricing, the nightly rate applies to the room up to its allowed capacity. Under occupancy-based pricing, the amount can change with the number of guests. Confirm the property's model before entering any value.

The Extranet also distinguishes a room rate from a rate plan. A rate plan packages price with commercial conditions such as meals, cancellation rules, booking period, stay period, and restrictions. One room may be connected to several plans, each with a different price.

If a channel manager or switcher sends rates, establish whether routine changes must be made there. Keep the pricing model identical in the Extranet and connected system. Record the property, room, rate plan, occupancy, currency, dates, weekdays, current value, new value, and source of truth.

Do not change allotment, close-out, close-to-arrival, close-to-departure, cancellation, or no-show settings unless they are part of the approved decision.

Change a Daily Rate in the Desktop Extranet

On desktop, open Rates & Availability > Manage Rates & Availability and follow this controlled sequence:

  1. Sign in to the tiket.com Extranet and confirm the property name and account role.
  2. Open Rates & Availability and select Manage Rates & Availability.
  3. Choose the room name. If several room types exist, compare it with the hotel's mapping or product register.
  4. Select the date that requires the change. Review adjacent dates to avoid editing the wrong calendar cell.
  5. In the panel on the right, locate the intended rate plan. Confirm its meal and cancellation conditions.
  6. Enter the approved price for that plan. Under occupancy-based pricing, review every occupancy value exposed by the account.
  7. Leave the allotment and restriction controls unchanged unless the work order includes them.
  8. Review the room, rate plan, date, currency, and new amount, then select Save.
  9. Reopen the same room, plan, and date. Confirm the stored value rather than relying only on a success message.

Allotment normally applies to all rate plans linked to a room type. Some eligible connected properties can manage it at rate-plan level. A price edit should not be used to solve an inventory problem.

Use Bulk Update for a Date Range

For a multi-date change, open Rates & Availability > Bulk Update. Separate Rate, Allotment, and Close-out tabs keep a price task isolated from availability when the operator selects the correct section.

Use this sequence:

  1. Enter the start and end dates.
  2. Select the weekdays that should change. If only Saturday and Sunday are selected, other days inside the range should remain untouched.
  3. Choose the Rate section rather than Allotment or Close-out.
  4. Select the room type or room types, then apply the selection.
  5. Choose the intended rate plan and enter the new price in its price column.
  6. Review the date range, weekdays, rooms, plans, and values.
  7. Select Save Changes.
  8. Reopen the calendar and spot-check the first date, last date, one included weekday, and one excluded weekday.

Test one low-risk date before applying a long range. A bulk update can reproduce one mapping or currency mistake across months of inventory. Before closing the task, retain the approved source value, spot-check the saved calendar, identify the matching activity-log entry, and compare an equivalent public checkout offer.

When Smart Order controls the parent rate, its hotel channel manager keeps mapped prices and availability in one calendar. Staff can trace the update without maintaining a competing manual workflow for routine changes.

Understand Default Rates and Mobile Overrides

Tiket.com introduced Default Rates as a fallback for dates without an explicitly set daily value. The setting is attached through the Rate Plan area and can help keep future inventory sellable when no calendar price exists.

A manual change in the Manage Rates & Availability calendar takes priority over the Default Rate. The calendar can show a badge when a value comes from the default setting, and Reset to Default returns an edited date to that fallback.

This means a manual test can appear successful while changing the property's intended long-term pricing logic. Before saving, check whether the displayed value is a daily override or a default. After saving, document which layer now owns the date.

The Default Rate cannot be lower than the price threshold configured in Room Data. If a value is rejected or changes unexpectedly, check the threshold, rate plan, pricing model, connected provider, and any existing calendar override.

Change Rates in the Lignum Mobile Experience

For a single date in the Lignum mobile experience, use this path:

  1. Open Inventory, select the date, and choose the room type.
  2. Select Manage Rates & Restrictions for that room.
  3. Choose the intended rate plan.
  4. Select Edit beside Rate.
  5. In Manage Rate, enter the new value and select Save.

For a period, use Edit multiple dates, set the start and end dates, and continue to the Rates option. Review the whole range before saving.

Do not switch from desktop to mobile midway through one bulk task. Finish, reopen, and verify in the same interface first so the team can reconstruct what happened.

Verify the Stored Rate, Log, and Public Price

Verification has three levels. First, reopen the calendar and confirm the stored room-plan-date value. Check whether it is a manual value, default, or value supplied by a connected vendor.

Second, open Rates & Availability > Manage Rates & Availability and select View Log in the upper-right area. The Rates & Availability Log records actual changes to availability, rates, and inventory and identifies Extranet and vendor activity. Re-submitting the same value may not create a new entry because no data changed.

Match the log to the user or vendor, timestamp, room, plan, date, and new value. If the rate later reverts, use the log to identify which source wrote after the manual update.

Third, search the public tiket.com site. Match dates, room count, adults, children, currency, market, device, login or rewards tier, room, plan, meals, cancellation terms, and payment conditions. Check the final amount before payment, including taxes and fees configured in the Extranet.

Promotions, targeted rates, cross-selling eligibility, rewards tiers, taxes, or occupancy pricing can make the public total differ from the calendar value. Compare equivalent products before reporting a sync failure.

For a high-risk update, make one authorized cancellable reservation on a low-demand date. Confirm the price, room, plan, payment details, and reservation delivery, then cancel within policy and verify inventory returns once.

Smart Order's hotel reporting software lets managers review tiket.com booking revenue, ADR, room nights, and channel contribution after pricing changes.

Troubleshoot a Rate That Is Wrong or Missing

Start with one property, room, rate plan, date, occupancy, and currency. Capture the expected source value, Extranet value, log entry, and final checkout price.

If the calendar is wrong, check that the correct plan was edited and whether a default, manual override, channel manager, or switcher owns the date. Confirm the pricing model and price threshold. If the plan is not visible, check that it is active, linked to the room, inside its booking and stay periods, and outside blackout dates.

If the public offer is missing, check allotment, close-out, close-to-arrival, close-to-departure, minimum stay, booking window, cancellation policy, and complete-stay availability. A stored price alone does not make a room bookable.

When escalating, send the property ID, room and rate-plan names and IDs, date, occupancy, currency, expected value, screenshots, save time, relevant log entry, connected-provider response, and public-search conditions.

Frequently Asked Questions

Where are rates changed in the tiket.com desktop Extranet?

Use Rates & Availability > Manage Rates & Availability, select the room and date, edit the intended rate plan in the right-side panel, and save.

How do I change several dates at once?

Use Rates & Availability > Bulk Update. Set the date range and weekdays, choose Rate, select rooms and plans, enter prices, save, and spot-check included and excluded dates.

What is Lignum by tiket.com?

Lignum is the name tiket.com uses for its property platform and mobile experience. The mobile Inventory workflow differs from the desktop Rates & Availability workflow.

Why did my rate return to another value?

A channel manager, switcher, later manual edit, or default-versus-override rule may be involved. Use the Rates & Availability Log to identify the latest actual change.

Why is the public price different from the Extranet rate?

Check occupancy, rewards eligibility, promotions, targeted or cross-selling rates, currency, taxes, fees, meals, cancellation terms, and payment conditions. Compare the final checkout total for the same product.

Does saving a rate make the room bookable?

No. The room also needs an active linked plan, valid selling periods, allotment, and restrictions that permit the complete stay.

A tiket.com rate change is complete only when the hotel can trace the new value through the calendar, activity log, public checkout, and reservation flow. Save once, verify at every layer, and investigate the source before retrying.
