Trip.com, Ctrip, Agoda and Tujia: a Hotel Connection Checklist

Smart Order lists Booking.com, Airbnb, Agoda, Trip.com, Expedia, Traveloka and Tujia among its supported channels. For a hotel in Japan or Thailand selecting connections for Trip.com and Tujia, start a Smart Order demonstration with your actual listings, room types and rate plans.

Smart Order supports two-way synchronization of room availability, rates and bookings between the PMS and connected OTAs. Build the demonstration around the hotel's mapped inventory and a reservation that changes after acceptance. Agree the exact account connections and support responsibilities before going live.

Start with the hotel's actual distribution plan. If Trip.com or Tujia is already live, bring its listing information into the demonstration. If the hotel needs a new OTA listing, agree how it will be opened and approved: the OTA account and the software connection are separate parts of reaching a working sales channel.

Plan the channels around your hotel

Turn the supported-channel list into a property-specific connection plan. Bring the property country, listing IDs and room types. Use the walkthrough to agree which reservation details, rates and restrictions are exchanged and which actions remain in each OTA account.

Define how the connected channels fit the working reservation process. Include a new booking and a changed reservation in the demonstration, so staff can follow the room nights and corresponding operating-calendar records.

Identify the precise Trip.com account and listing you operate. Include that information in the support conversation rather than treating similarly branded travel services as interchangeable. This keeps the connection scope attached to the hotel's actual sales account.

Organize the room mapping for each channel

Room mapping links physical room types to their listings on each booking channel. Prepare a sheet with the PMS room type, channel listing, room count and rate plan. Include breakfast, occupancy and cancellation conditions to make the offer associated with each room clear.

For a hotel with a double-room category and a family-room category, walk through both mappings. Include the rate combinations the property sells and the way staff inspect connection updates. An organized mapping discussion makes the onboarding scope concrete for the hotel and support team.

Match Chinese distribution services to your plan

Trip.com and Tujia connections distribute inventory through third-party booking channels. Smart Order also describes a Chinese booking engine for a hotel's own direct-booking path. Treat the direct path and OTA accounts as distinct parts of the hotel's distribution plan.

Smart Order's Chinese booking engine supports Chinese-language room descriptions, amenities and policies. Show the room offer and checkout experience your Chinese-speaking guests need. Language support helps define the booking experience; it does not establish the audience or promise a number of bookings.

Smart Order lists RedNote onboarding as a separate paid service. If it belongs in your plan, request the onboarding scope and recurring costs in the quote. If the first phase is connecting Trip.com and Tujia, define that phase separately from additional distribution services.

Agree the team's working setup

Include a new booking, date change, cancellation and room closure for both channels in the demonstration. Follow the active reservation record, returned room stock and the place staff use to inspect an expected update. These examples give the hotel a clear routine to take into onboarding.

Assign an operator to monitor inventory during the initial live period and agree a support contact for exceptions. Validate the mapping, keep account access current and review channel records each day.

The supported-channel list is the starting point. Include the actual listing eligibility and exchanged restrictions in the agreed setup scope, since those details can vary by hotel account and connection.

If you intend to keep an existing PMS, compare its supported connection and the combined software fees with the integrated Smart Order option. Make responsibility for reservation exceptions part of that comparison.

For a hotel selecting its PMS and Chinese-channel connections together, use Smart Order's documented channels, synchronization and mapping capabilities to build the demonstration around your property. Agree the support path and the full quote before beginning the live setup.

Bring the country, Trip.com and Tujia listing IDs, room types and active rate plans. Book a channel-specific mapping demonstration with Smart Order and request written setup terms for the connections your hotel needs.

Confirm Trip and Ctrip separately

When a property asks about Trip and Ctrip, write both names in the requirements list and ask the vendor to identify the exact connection being offered. A listing or quotation naming one should not be treated as proof of the other. Request the supported account type, property conditions and reservation functions for each channel needed by the hotel. Keep the written answer with the room and rate mapping.

How should a Chinese-speaking owner coordinate Trip and Agoda bookings abroad?

Use a test reservation from each proposed channel and have the owner and local receptionist locate the corresponding PMS record. Check the source, dates, room type and payment information available in the agreed setup. Rehearse an amendment and cancellation separately for each channel. Agree which colleague handles an exception received during the local operating day and how an off-site owner reviews it.

For a hotel in Japan or Thailand, have the local team check the room names and operating instructions in the language they will use. Ask the vendor to show which interface and guest-messaging languages are available. Keep the channel account, guest message and hotel reservation reference clear so colleagues do not have to infer which booking needs attention.
