What is a rack rate?
The rack rate for a hotel room is the published rate for one night’s stay without any discounts or premiums included. Rack rates are the highest price that a hotel will charge for a room. Your room type price defaults to the price you filled in when creating the room type until you update your daily prices.
Notes:
Rack rate is out of syncs with channel manager, so it is only valid for manual reservations in the system, and the changes will not update the connected channels.
Edit the daily rack rate
- Click Settings
- Click Room Rate in Rate drop-down
- Click on the rate of the date you would like to change and edit the rate
- In the pop-up window, choose start and end dates for modification
- Enter daily price for rack rate
